Barcelona.- The Pope greeted Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny and his family at the end of the event at the Santiago Bernabéu this Monday, reported Vatican spokesperson Matteo Bruni, who specified that it was a private meeting, for which there are neither videos nor photos at the moment.
The meeting between Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio and the pontiff took place at the end of the event that brought together 80,000 people from the Madrid diocesan community at the stadium where the singer was with his family and another group of people.
On the flight from Rome to Madrid, Robert Prevost had explained on Saturday that he did not know if he would be able to meet him because while the singer had concerts, he also had events.

He was referring to the coincidence of the vigil in the Plaza de Lima and one of the ten concerts by the Puerto Rican artist at the Metropolitano stadium, points that are approximately a dozen kilometers apart, and which brought together tens of thousands of people.
“Do you want to go see Bad Bunny or do you want to go see the Pope?”
During the flight, a journalist also asked him what young people would say if they were asked the question: “Do you want to go see Bad Bunny or do you want to go see the Pope?”. And he stated: “I think many would go to see Bad Bunny, but I think there will also be some around here who have come to see the Pope. And that says a lot, you know”.
Bad Bunny does not define himself as a practitioner, although he has explained in some interviews that he comes from a very Catholic family.
The Cardinal and Archbishop of Madrid, José Cobo, had already left open the possibility of a meeting between the Pope and the singer by stating “surprises are surprises”, and spoke of building bridges between people from very different backgrounds, without ruling out a meeting if both parties wished it.
