The United States government would have set April 9 as the deadline to end the conflict with Iran, according to an Israeli official cited by international media. According to the source, which was not identified, it is expected that before that date, conversations may begin between Tehran and Washington, possibly at the end of this week in Pakistan, as part of diplomatic efforts to stop the military escalation. The report also indicates that, if a cessation of hostilities materializes, President Donald Trump could travel to Israel during the Independence Day celebrations to receive the so-called “Israel Prize.”
