Venezuelan actor Franklin Virgüez was arrested this Wednesday in the city of Miami, United States, after being accused of allegedly engaging in acts of indecent exposure inside a park where minors were present.
According to the police report released by local media, the 72-year-old performer was allegedly observed performing a sexual act while remaining inside a vehicle parked in the vicinity of Country Club park.
Authorities noted that a witness alerted them to the situation and provided recordings that, according to the investigation, show the reported behavior. The complainant indicated that the car was located in front of the community pool and near a playground area frequented by children.
The report also states that, at the time of the alleged incident, several minors between the ages of 6 and 7 were in the vicinity of the location.
Franklin Virgüez is a well-known figure in Venezuelan and Latin American television for his participation in productions such as Cosita rica, Voltea pa’ que te enamores, El señor de los cielos, and Papá a toda madre.
So far, the actor has not issued any public statements regarding the accusations, while the authorities continue with the corresponding process to determine his judicial status.
