Texas intermediate oil fell 2.38% this Thursday, to 74.96 dollars a barrel, and stabilizing around 76 dollars, while the market watches the agreement between the United States and Iran closely.

WTI futures contracts for July, the benchmark crude in the U.S., were down $1.83 from the previous close.

The oil market is watching closely the development of the pact between Washington and Tehran, which is scheduled to be officially signed this Friday in the Swiss city of Bürgenstock.

Even so, U.S. President Donald Trump did not rule out bombing again “if they don’t behave”.

In the text released by Washington, the two countries agree to end hostilities, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and organize two months to reach a definitive agreement on the Iranian nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions on the Islamic Republic.
