Santo Domingo, RD.- The urban music artist Georgina Guillermo Díaz, known as Yailin La Más Viral, was released this Friday after the economic guarantee of 500,000 pesos, imposed by the Permanent Attention Court of Santo Domingo Este, was paid through an insurance company.
Yailin remained secluded for the last three days in the San Luis jail, where she was in custody after her arrest last Tuesday at 11:47 a.m. in the secto
r “Los Mina”, for alleged illegal possession of firearms. The artist was transferred to the prosecutor’s office for the corresponding purposes and later to the jail, until the coercion measure hearing held on Thursday, where the economic guarantee was decided as a sufficient measure.
Upon her release, Yailin appeared emotional and grateful, accompanied by her legal team. Through her social media, images of the emotional reunion with her daughter Cattaleya have been shared, after several days apart.
The artist’s defense has reiterated that she is innocent and that the imposed measure is proportional and adequate, making it clear that the singer is willing to collaborate with the judicial process, stating that there are no elements that justify additional restrictions.
