Santo Domingo.- <\/strong>The Dominican Republic’s Meteorology Institute (Indomet)<\/a><\/strong> reports that today, Sunday, mainly during the early morning hours, the sky will be partly cloudy at times and isolated showers of short duration in some provinces of the northeast region and the Caribbean coast. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, after midday, the local effects, the diurnal warming and the influence of the wind, as well as the instability left by a trough in the upper levels of the troposphere, we will observe occasional cloud increases accompanied by scattered showers<\/strong>, locally moderate to strong at times, isolated thunderstorms and possible wind gusts over different provinces of the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The provinces where the rains will occur are: Saman\u00e1, Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, Monte Plata, Hato Mayor, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, San Crist\u00f3bal, Peravia, Hermanas Mirabal, Duarte, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, La Vega, Dajab\u00f3n, Valverde, Santiago, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a, La Altagracia and some of the municipalities of Gran Santo Domingo, among other locations in the Central Mountain Range, the border zone and the northeast region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tomorrow, Monday<\/strong>, the Indomet indicates that the weather conditions will be influenced by an anticyclonic system<\/strong>. Consequently, a sky with little cloud cover and quite limited precipitation will prevail. However, as a result of orographic effects and daytime heating, we only foresee some isolated showers in different communities and towns in the northeast, southeast regions and the mountain ranges in the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday<\/strong> the weather conditions in our forecast area will not experience significant changes, due to the influence of an anticyclonic system. This will continue to limit the clouds that generate significant rainfall over a large part of the Dominican territory. Consequently, mostly sunny skies will prevail<\/strong>, mainly in the morning hours. However, as a result of orographic effects and daytime heating, we only foresee some isolated showers in different communities and towns in the mountainous systems, the regions; northeast, southeast (including the GSD and the D.N.), as well as some towns in the southwest, mainly in the afternoon and early evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The temperatures will be perceived as hot in the afternoon<\/strong>, becoming more pleasant at night, dawn, and early in the morning, mainly in mountainous areas and valleys in the interior of the Dominican territory.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
