Los Angeles.- Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were the target of a parody on the program \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d, where comedian Colin Jost ridiculed them during the \u201cWeekend Update\u201d segment, which he shares with Michael Che.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jost, 42, joked about a supposed new trade deal between the United States and the United Kingdom announced by former President Donald Trump. \u201cAll the UK is asking in return is that we keep these two,\u201d the presenter said, as an image of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared on screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So far, neither Harry nor Meghan have responded to the comments, and a representative of the couple has not offered statements after the sketch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The appearance on SNL<\/em> coincided with a recent public outing of the couple. The night before, the Duke and Duchess attended the final concert of Beyonc\u00e9’s \u201cCowboy Carter\u201d tour at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where they were affectionate and loving in public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meghan, 43, shared a summary of the evening on her social media, including a video where Harry, 40, gives her a kiss on the cheek. In the image carousel, the prince’s cowboy hat, forest green in color, was also appreciated, with the names of his children \u2014Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 3\u2014 engraved on the inner brim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the custom accessory it read: \u201cArchie, Lili, My Love\u201d, along with embroideries of the flags of the United States, California and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This romantic moment occurs just days after sources close to him revealed to Page Six<\/em> that Harry has been completely removed from the royal family, due to the distrust that exists towards him and his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI truly believe that nobody trusts him, and that’s the core problem,\u201d indicated a close source. \u201cThe royal family has serious trust issues with Harry and Meghan.
