Santo Domingo.- <\/strong>The Dominican Republic’s Institute of Meteorology (Indomet<\/a>) reported that for this Thursday, a humid air mass persists entering Dominican territory, supported by the instability of a trough; consequently, this morning, cloud increases will develop with moderate showers at times and isolated wind gusts in towns of La Altagracia, San Pedro, Greater Santo Domingo, San Crist\u00f3bal, Saman\u00e1, and Monte Plata.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also highlighted that showers will extend into the afternoon, being moderate to heavy in occasions<\/a>, thunderstorms and wind gusts in Hato Mayor, Duarte, Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, La Vega, Santiago, Espaillat, Puerto Plata, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a and Dajabon.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For tomorrow Friday<\/strong>, cloudy increases will continue with local showers in La Altagracia, El Seibo, La Romana, San Pedro, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Saman\u00e1 and the greater Santo Domingo.<\/strong> In the afternoon, the expected humidity plus the instability of the trough will motivate moderate to heavy showers, electrical storms and wind gusts in towns of Monte Plata, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa, La Vega, Santiago, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, San Juan, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a and in Independencia. This activity will continue at night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The temperatures will continue to be hot during the day due to the time of year, as well as the influence of the warm east-southeast wind, becoming a little more pleasant at the end of the night, early morning and early in the morning, mainly in mountainous areas and valleys of the interior of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
