That year, the contest was won by Israel with Netta and her song <em>Toy<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Later, during an interview on the program <em>El Hormiguero<\/em>, Amaia elaborated on her discomfort, stating that she had no control over the choice of the song with which she went to the festival. \u201cSuddenly we went with a song that we hadn&#8217;t chosen.
