{"id":470031,"date":"2025-06-02T18:07:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T22:07:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/abinader-guarantees-protection-to-citizens-before-the-start-of-the-hurricane-season\/"},"modified":"2025-06-02T18:07:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T22:07:10","slug":"abinader-guarantees-protection-to-citizens-before-the-start-of-the-hurricane-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/uncategorized\/abinader-guarantees-protection-to-citizens-before-the-start-of-the-hurricane-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Abinader guarantees protection to citizens before the start of the hurricane season"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Santo Domingo<\/strong>.- In the framework of the beginning of the hurricane season on June 1st, the President of the Republic, <a href=\"https:\/\/presidencia.gob.do\/lasemanal\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/presidencia.gob.do\/lasemanal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luis Abinader,<\/a> assured this Monday that the government will protect the entire population without exception, while urging citizens to collaborate by leaving vulnerable areas if required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During his weekly address &#8220;La Semanal con la Prensa&#8221;, where he presented the <a href=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/presentan-plan-de-huracanes-2025\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/presentan-plan-de-huracanes-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2025 Hurricane Contingency Plan<\/a>, Abinader stated <strong>\u201cwe are going to protect all Dominicans who are on national territory.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The president acknowledged that government entities are prepared to act, although not all scenarios that could arise from intense natural phenomena can be foreseen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In that sense, he reiterated the call to the population to act responsibly: <strong>\u201cThe first protection that everyone has to have is to avoid unnecessary risk situations.
