In addition, starting June 6, the airline will also start flights between Punta Cana and San Juan, with three weekly frequencies (Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this expansion, Arajet will allow Puerto Ricans to connect with 11 additional destinations in Latin America through its two hubs in Santo Domingo and Punta Cana, including countries such as Jamaica, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico, among others.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inaugural flight was seen off in Santo Domingo by the Minister of Tourism, <strong>David Collado<\/strong>, and led by the CEO and founder of Arajet, V\u00edctor Pacheco M\u00e9ndez, who waved the Dominican and Puerto Rican flags from the aircraft&#8217;s cockpit as a sign of celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You can also read:<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/economia\/primer-vuelo-arajet-rd-pr\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/economia\/primer-vuelo-arajet-rd-pr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Congratulations! The first direct Arajet flight from RD to San Juan, Puerto Rico takes off<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the official ceremony held in San Juan, the governor of Puerto Rico, Jenniffer Gonz\u00e1lez, the mayor of San Juan, Miguel Romero, the executive director of the Tourism Company, Willianette Robles Cancel, among other authorities, were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During 2025, Arajet will make available more than 88 thousand seats for these routes, a significant part of which were sold in the first 48 hours of the announcement, made in February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFor the country, it is vital to continue improving air connectivity; that is why we are working to achieve the open skies treaty with the United States.
