Romero Severino<\/strong>, following a complaint filed by the <strong>General Directorate of Migration (DGM)<\/strong>.\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The arrest was carried out by intelligence and interdiction units of the DGM while the defendant was traveling on a road in the <strong>Villa Consuelo<\/strong> sector, by virtue of judicial order No. 001-June-2025. The arrest warrant was signed by the prosecutor <strong>Teresa Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, attached to the Community Prosecutor&#8217;s Office of Villa Consuelo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You may be interested in:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/tag\/direccion-general-de-migracion\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"14825\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General Directorate of Migration<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nPo Xie offered no resistance and was transferred to the DGM facilities, where the corresponding biometric registration was carried out, before being handed over to the <strong>Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office<\/strong>.\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The legal action was prompted by a formal accusation from the DGM, which also constituted itself as a <strong>civil plaintiff<\/strong>, imputing Po Xie with the crimes of <strong>obstruction of immigration interdiction work<\/strong> and <strong>rebellion against public officials<\/strong>, in violation of provisions of the <strong>Penal Code<\/strong>, the <strong>Civil Code<\/strong> and the <strong>General Migration Law No. 285-04<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The file, prepared by the Legal Department of the DGM, indicates that the businessman allegedly <strong>assaulted the acting personnel<\/strong> during an immigration interdiction operation carried out on <strong>May 28<\/strong> at the Mudan store. Among those affected are the employees <strong>Mart\u00edn Juan Mateo Mora<\/strong>, <strong>Rosmel Daritza Mat\u00edas<\/strong> and <strong>Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Cuevas De \u00d3leo<\/strong>, members of the DGM brigade deployed at the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the operation, which was supported by the <strong>Armed Forces<\/strong> and the <strong>National Police<\/strong>, <strong>35 Haitian citizens<\/strong> who were working in an irregular migratory condition were arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, the General Directorate of Migration imposed an <strong>administrative sanction<\/strong> on the company <strong>Mudan Confort Collection<\/strong>, equivalent to <strong>RD$450,000.00<\/strong>, for re-offending in the hiring of foreign labor in an irregular migratory situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sanction was applied in accordance with the provisions of <strong>Law 285-04<\/strong> and its <strong>Implementing Regulation No. 631-11<\/strong>, which contemplate fines of up to <strong>30 minimum wages of the public sector<\/strong> for each proven infraction.
