It was a fortuitous situation beyond his control,\u201d J\u00e1quez stated to the media.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe lawyer detailed that, as soon as the owner of the weapon learned of the case, he voluntarily appeared before the Prosecutor&#8217;s Office of San Juan de la Maguana with the corresponding documents: carrying and possession license, as well as its current renewal.\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, J\u00e1quez insisted that the investigations carried out so far confirm that the baseball player <strong>never manipulated the gun<\/strong>, thus reinforcing his argument that Franco did not violate any weapons law.<\/p>\n\n\nThe Public Ministry has not issued a new statement following the defense attorney&#8217;s claims.
