Santo Domingo.- <\/strong>The President of the United States, Donald Trump<\/a><\/strong>, will visit the Dominican Republic within the framework of the Summit of the Americas<\/a><\/strong> that will be held in the country in December in Punta Cana, confirmed this Monday the Minister of the Presidency Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Paliza<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During an interview on “El Despertador”<\/strong>, the official said that the visit of the U.S. president is part of the general activities of the event that will bring together Heads of State and Government of the countries of the Hemisphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Summit of the Americas” is going to be held at the end of the year, where all the presidents of the region and the American president must come,” Paliza said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This would be Trump’s first visit to the Dominican Republic as president.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
