Santo Domingo<\/strong>. \u2013 In an emotional ceremony organized by the Association of Art Journalists (Acroarte<\/a>), the journalist and president of the Grupo Diario Libre<\/a>, An\u00edbal de Castro<\/a><\/strong>, was recognized this Monday with the Journalistic Merit Award<\/strong>, an award that highlights his solid career and his commitment to an ethical and in-depth practice of journalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his acceptance speech, De Castro reflected on the challenges facing journalism in the digital age, highlighting the urgency of maintaining responsibility and informational depth in a context increasingly dominated by immediacy and misinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
