Therefore, he warned that “if the United States gets involved in an attack and aggression against Iran along with the Israeli enemy, the armed forces (of the Houthis) will attack their ships and warships in the Red Sea”.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe U.S. and the Houthis, with the mediation of Oman, reached a ceasefire agreement on May 6th, limited to operations in the Red Sea, after which U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he would stop bombing the insurgents because they have decided to “capitulate” and halt their attacks.\n\nThe Houthi military spokesman said today that their “armed forces monitor and observe all movements in the region, including hostile movements” against Yemen, and maintained that “they will take the legitimate measures necessary to defend themselves.”\n\n\n
