Consequently, we only foresee occasional isolated showers of short duration. <br><\/p>\n\n\nHowever, during the afternoon and early evening hours, the humidity left by tropical wave number 8, plus the indirect effects of a weak trough, will favor the occurrence of moderate to heavy showers locally, thunderstorms and wind gusts over different towns of: La Altagracia, La Romana, San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, La Vega, Santiago, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, Dajab\u00f3n, Azua, Peravia, San Juan, Independencia, Bahoruco, Barahona, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a, San Crist\u00f3bal, Santo Domingo, among other nearby locations.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Temperatures<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n<strong>Temperatures will remain hot,<\/strong> mainly in the afternoon due to the time of year, the warm east\/southeast wind and the presence of a light layer of Saharan dust.
