Arajet and Boeing’s cadet program is the first of this magnitude in Latin America<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\nSanto Domingo<\/strong>.- The Dominican airline Arajet<\/a> and the international aeronautical company Boeing, graduated two new Dominican pilots, who successfully completed the cadet training program that both companies develop in partnership and that had the approval and supervision of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC<\/a>).\n\nFor an entire year, Dominicans Carlos Mart\u00ednez and Jos\u00e9 Mauriz trained to receive the certificate that accredits them as pilots of the Boeing 737 Max aircraft, after completing more than 1,000 total flight hours. This program included flight line training, aviation data training (by the company Jeppesen), competition-based simulators, an adaptation course to the Boeing 737 Max jet, among others.\n\nDue to the magnitude of the program’s content and its cost, which exceeds US$100,000.00, this initiative is considered the largest of its kind in all of Latin America.\n\nYou can also read: Collado and Arajet announce a new route to Cordoba in November<\/a>\n\nThis initiative is part of Arajet and Boeing’s commitment to the development of national talent and the consolidation of a strong, modern, and sustainable aeronautical industry in the Dominican Republic.\n\nThe new pilots, who are now active members of the Arajet crew, represent the fruit of a training model that is committed to technical excellence, the inclusion of young Dominicans with a vocation for flying, and the promotion of high-impact careers for the country.
