The initiative is part of the commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the Faculty of Humanities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nSanto Domingo<\/strong>.\u2013 The Faculty of Humanities of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD<\/a>) inaugurated this Thursday the first National Awards Gallery dedicated exclusively to those awarded the National Literature Prize and other state recognitions that have been academically or professionally linked to this house of higher education.\n\nThe gallery, located in the Paraninfo Andr\u00e9s Avelino Garc\u00eda, honors the intellectual and humanist trajectory of distinguished figures who have significantly contributed to Dominican letters and culture through their connection with UASD. Among the awardees present at the event were Jos\u00e9 M\u00e1rmol, Andr\u00e9s L. Mateo, Mateo Morrison, \u00c1ngela Hern\u00e1ndez, and Fernando P\u00e9rez Mem\u00e9n.\n\n\n
