These conditions will generate high humidity and favor the formation of cloudiness, accompanied by moderate to heavy showers, electrical storms and isolated wind gusts in several provinces of the national territory.<\/p>\n\n\nThe northeast, southeast, southwest regions, the Central Mountain Range, and the border area will be the most affected. Among the provinces under alert for rain are: Santo Domingo and its municipalities, the National District, San Crist\u00f3bal, La Altagracia, El Seibo, La Romana, Hato Mayor, San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, Saman\u00e1, Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, Monte Plata, La Vega, Santiago, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa, Azua, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, San Juan, and El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a.\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite being in the middle of summer, the weather in the Dominican Republic is expected to have slightly pleasant temperatures in mountainous areas and areas with higher rainfall, thanks to the cool northeast wind.
