Espinal<\/strong> as Emeritus Advisor of their respective Boards of Directors, in honor of his exemplary career of more than four decades of commitment, leadership and valuable contributions to the development of the financial group and the country.\n\nDuring a moving ceremony led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Popular, Manuel A. Grull\u00f3n, the impact of Mr. Espinal’s career was highlighted.\n\n\n

“It is a living legacy of extraordinary value, which weighs on the present and will accompany the future of our financial organization,” Grull\u00f3n highlighted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe distinction of Emeritus Counselor constitutes the highest honor conferred by both entities to a member of their governing bodies. As part of the tribute, a portrait of Mr. Espinal, created by the renowned artist Miguel N\u00fa\u00f1ez, was unveiled, which will become part of the institutional gallery of Grupo Popular.\n\n\n

Espinal held strategic roles, including the presidency of the Board of Directors of Banco Popular Dominicano and the vice presidency of the Board of Directors of Grupo Popular, in addition to chairing important internal committees such as those for Appointments and Remuneration, and being a key member of the Executive, Strategic, and Credit committees.\n\nIn addition to his successful institutional career, he has also demonstrated business leadership at companies such as Daniel Espinal, S.A.S., INFACA and Juste Internacional, S.A.S.\n\nThe event was attended by senior executives, members of the Group and Bank’s Boards of Directors, as well as the honoree’s family, who proudly shared this well-deserved recognition of an emblematic figure in the Dominican financial sector.\n\n\n
