New York.-<\/strong> A diving team specializing in searching for missing persons worldwide found human remains inside a vehicle submerged on a Long Island beach (New York<\/a>).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nIt is believed that they could belong to a sixty-year-old who went missing fifteen years ago.\n\nResearchers point to it being Robert Long<\/strong>, originally from Long Island itself, who disappeared in December 2010 at the age of 62 while heading to a local liquor store in a Chrysler PT Cruiser like the one discovered, local media reported in the last few hours.\n\n“It’s obviously a great relief when the vehicle being sought is identified (…) It’s satisfying to know that we can help the family, however difficult the answers may be,” declared Dan Pritchard – who teams up with his colleague Bill McIntosh searching for missing persons around the planet – to 1010 WINS radio.\n\nTo find the submerged vehicle in the Cedar Beach area (Suffolk County, New York), the couple embarked for hours on kayaks equipped with side-scan sonars that allowed them to inspect the water.\n\n\n
