{"id":473924,"date":"2025-07-03T18:35:38","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T22:35:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/jce-issues-resolutions-on-party-financing-and-order-on-the-electoral-ballot-for-2028\/"},"modified":"2025-07-03T18:35:38","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T22:35:38","slug":"jce-issues-resolutions-on-party-financing-and-order-on-the-electoral-ballot-for-2028","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/dominican-news\/jce-issues-resolutions-on-party-financing-and-order-on-the-electoral-ballot-for-2028\/","title":{"rendered":"JCE issues resolutions on party financing and order on the electoral ballot for 2028"},"content":{"rendered":"Santo Domingo.- <\/strong>The Central Electoral Board (JCE) issued resolutions 15-2025 and 16-2025 in compliance with the sentence TSE\/0010\/2025 of the Superior Electoral Tribunal, with the aim of guaranteeing equity in the distribution of public funds to political parties and defining their order on the ballots for the 2028 general elections.\n\nResolution 15-2025 establishes the categorization of political parties, groupings, and movements entitled to state funding, based on the results of the complete electoral cycle of the year 2024.\n\nFurthermore, it determines the numerical order that each organization will occupy on the ballots for the municipal, congressional, and presidential elections scheduled for 2028.\n\nWith this arrangement, the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), Fuerza del Pueblo (FP), and the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) will head the ballot for having achieved the highest percentages of valid votes.\n\nAlso included is the recognition of new groupings and the exclusion of those that did not reach the minimum required by law to maintain their legal status.\n\n\n

On the other hand, Resolution 16-2025 modifies the distribution of the State’s economic contribution to political parties for the second half of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\nIn total, RD$750 million will be allocated, corresponding to the remaining 50% of the amount approved in the General State Budget Law for that year.\n\nAccording to the provisions, 80% of those funds will be distributed among the parties that obtained more than 5% of the valid votes; 12% among those that reached between 1% and 5%; and 8% among those that obtained between 0.01% and 1% of the votes or that, without reaching that threshold, retain their legal status or were recognized after the elections.\n\n\n
