Fatule, with heartfelt words, recalled the life and career of Roberto Antonio P\u00e9rez, christened in the artistic field by Fernando Villalona as Rubby P\u00e9rez, whose powerful voice and charisma left an indelible mark on Dominican music before his tragic death in the early hours of April 8, in the Jet Set tragedy.\n\nIn a combination of talent and technology, Rubby himself appeared on screen, lending his immortal voice to the piece “O Sole M\u00edo<\/a>“, drawing applause from those in attendance.\n\n


The musical opening was as majestic as it was emotional, the violins set the solemn tone of the tribute, which gave way to Milly Quezada and Frank Ceara, who performed the classic “No voy a llorar<\/a>“, marking the beginning of an evening in which art was the language of farewell and celebration.<\/p>\n\nThe night’s repertoire was a journey through Rubby’s most endearing hits, performed by colleagues and friends who would honor him in eternity.\n\n


Milly Quezada continued with the songs “Buscando tus besos,” “Cobarde” and “Contigo.” Joselito Trinidad joined the Queen of Merengue to perform “Ave de paso.” Then, Alex Bueno revived the joy with “Pato robao.”<\/p>\n\nDancing as only they know how, Los Rosario and the diva, Miriam Cruz, arrived, who joined forces and rhythm in “El Africano” and “Para que no me olvides”.\n\nThe talented Martha Heredia and Pavel N\u00fa\u00f1ez sang with deep emotion “Dame Veneno” and “Cuando est\u00e9s con \u00e9l”. Eddy Herrera brought to life “Enamorado de ella” and “Amor de hembra”, two romantic gems from Rubby’s repertoire.\n\nFrank Ceara, accompanied by classical dancers, sang the bolero “Ahora”, and then returned with Amaury Guti\u00e9rrez and Pavel N\u00fa\u00f1ez for “Yo s\u00e9 que es mentira” and “Una fiesta para dos”, in versions full of feeling.\n\n\n

One of the most moving moments was that of Pe\u00f1a Suazo, who performed “Vali\u00f3 la pena” and addressed the audience with the phrase: \u201cMy friend was a happy man and that’s how I want you to always remember him. May God have him in glory. Great and incredible man<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\nThe night continued with the deep voice of Michel “El Buen\u00f3n” and his interpretation of “Missing You”.\n\nThe most emotional and anticipated moment of the night was by Ana Beatriz, Rubby P\u00e9rez’s youngest daughter, who, along with Jandy Ventura, offered a heartfelt version of “Sangre en mi cuerpo<\/a><\/strong>“. They continued with “Pr\u00e9stame a mi padre”, a song that brought to mind the great Johnny Ventura and Rubby P\u00e9rez, both deceased and fathers of the young performers.\n\nThe emotion overflowed when Laura Taveras, Rubby’s niece<\/strong>, performed “Don’t forget me”.\n\nFrom Puerto Rico, opening the international artists lineup, Joseph Fonseca paid tribute with the hit “Hipocres\u00eda”. Then, the always energetic “Mujer de Fuego”, Olga Ta\u00f1\u00f3n, made the room vibrate with “Tonto Coraz\u00f3n”, “Tu vas a volar” and “Volver\u00e9”, the latter with the multifaceted Carlos Alfredo Fatule.\n\nPavel N\u00fa\u00f1ez returned to sing “Hazme olvidarla”, accompanied again by classical ballet dancers. Ram\u00f3n Orlando, author of the emblematic song “Perro ajeno”, performed it in honor of his friend of a thousand battles.\n\nThe climax arrived with the powerful union of Alex Bueno, To\u00f1o Rosario and Joselito Trinidad in “15 500 noches”, a musical celebration of Rubby’s life and one of his last recorded songs. Finally, at 10:30 p.m., Zulinka P\u00e9rez, Rubby’s daughter, went on stage with Miguel, to sing “De color de rosa”.\n\n\n

\u201cAqu\u00ed est\u00e1n tus hijos, viejo. Te amo\u201d.<\/p>Con l\u00e1grimas en los ojos y voz entrecortada, dijo Zulinka .<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\nMartha Heredia returned to the stage to sing with her powerful voice, the hit “I Will Survive”, deserving applause and the euphoria of the public.\n\nMarking 10:45 p.m. Jorge G\u00f3mez kicked off with the song “I’m a funny man”, accompanied by all the artists at the end of the event.\n\n\n


\u201cRubby P\u00e9rez Infinito<\/strong>\u201d was not just a concert, but an act of collective love, an artistic reverence to a man who put his soul into every note. Between applause, tears and memories, the audience left the National Theater with their hearts full and a certainty:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
