Dominican third baseman <strong>Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00edrez<\/strong> once again demonstrated his power by hitting his 19th home run of the season, but it wasn&#8217;t enough to prevent the Cleveland Guardians&#8217; 8-2 defeat against an Oakland Athletics led by his compatriot <strong>Luis Severino<\/strong>.\n\nSeverino (3-11) had an outstanding start from the mound, pitching five innings of three hits and two runs, with three strikeouts, to achieve his third win of the year. In the fourth inning, three consecutive doubles by <strong>Brent Rooker, Nick Kurtz, and Shea Langeliers<\/strong>, followed by a run-scoring single by <strong>Miguel And\u00fajar<\/strong>, turned the score around to 3-2.
