The team of U.S. President Donald Trump is concerned about the actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after in recent days attacked<\/a> Syria and bombed<\/a> a Catholic church in the Gaza Strip (Palestine), Axios reported on Sunday Axios<\/a> citing several people familiar with the matter.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Bibi [nickname for the leader of the Hebrew country] acted like a madman. He bombs everything all the time<\/strong>. This could undermine what Trump is trying to do,” said a White House official, referring to the efforts<\/a> to achieve peace in the Palestinian enclave.<\/p>\n

Another informant noted that the feeling is that there is something new every day, while a third explained that there is growing skepticism within the Trump Administration about Netanyahu, a feeling that he has his finger too quick on the trigger and is too disruptive. “Netanyahu is sometimes like a child who doesn’t behave,” he commented.<\/p>\n

Six U.S. officials told Axios that, despite the ceasefire<\/a> negotiated by the U.S. that stopped the recent escalation in Syria on Friday, the week ended with the White House much more alarmed by Netanyahu and his regional policies.<\/p>\n

“The bombing<\/strong> in Syria<\/strong> took the president by surprise<\/strong> and the White House<\/strong>. The president doesn’t like to turn on the television and see how bombs are dropped in a country where he seeks peace and in which he has made a monumental announcement to help with reconstruction,” pointed out another official of the North American country.<\/p>\n

According to one of the sources, several high-ranking US officials have complained directly to the occupant of the White House about Netanyahu’s actions, including US envoys Tom Barrack and Steve Witkoff.<\/p>\n
