{"id":475864,"date":"2025-07-22T12:27:53","date_gmt":"2025-07-22T16:27:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/pld-complies-with-tse-ruling-but-rejects-its-content-for-considering-it-an-interference-in-the-internal-life-of-the-party\/"},"modified":"2025-07-22T12:27:53","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T16:27:53","slug":"pld-complies-with-tse-ruling-but-rejects-its-content-for-considering-it-an-interference-in-the-internal-life-of-the-party","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/dominican-news\/pld-complies-with-tse-ruling-but-rejects-its-content-for-considering-it-an-interference-in-the-internal-life-of-the-party\/","title":{"rendered":"PLD complies with TSE ruling, but rejects its content for considering it an interference in the internal life of the party"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Santo Domingo.<\/strong>\u2013<\/em> The <strong>Political Committee of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD)<\/strong> issued an official statement this Monday in which it complies with the sentence <strong>TSE\/0011\/2025 of the Superior Electoral Tribunal (TSE)<\/strong>, although it expressed its disagreement with its content, considering that it represents an undue interference in the internal decisions of the political organization.<\/p>\n\n\nIn the document, unanimously approved by its members, the PLD&#8217;s governing body affirms that its commitment to the rule of law and institutional strengthening remains intact, and that therefore they respect the decision of the high electoral court, despite considering that it exceeds its attributions.\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8220;The Political Committee acted within the legitimate framework of the attributions conferred upon it by the Party Statutes and the Party Law, in accordance with the principle of internal autonomy of political organizations,&#8221;<\/strong> indicates the statement, which reiterates that the PLD will continue working for its reorganization and strengthening as the main opposition force in the country.<\/p>\n\n\nLikewise, the purple party highlighted that its leaders with presidential aspirations will continue touring the country freely, promoting proposals and connecting with the citizenry, as part of their commitment to internal democracy.\n\nThe PLD assured that the ruling will not stop its political work nor its objective of presenting itself as a firm alternative to what they consider <strong>&#8220;the worst moment in recent history&#8221;<\/strong> for the country.
