Monte Plata.- A member of the General Directorate of Traffic and Ground Transportation Safety (DIGESETT) suffered injuries this Friday after being hit by a motorcycle while performing vehicle control work in the province of Monte Plata.<\/p>\n
According to the preliminary report, the officer was at an intersection managing traffic flow when he was struck by the driver of a motorcycle traveling in the area. Following the incident, the officer was taken to a health center to receive medical attention.<\/p>\n
The authorities initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances of the event and establish possible responsibilities. The motorcycle driver was detained for investigation purposes.<\/p>\n
