Santo Domingo<\/strong>.<\/em>\u2013 The president of the Unified Council of Electricity Distribution Companies (CUED), Celso Marranzini<\/a>, stated that by the summer of 2026 there will be no suspension of the electricity service in the country, thanks to the advances in the reduction of losses, network renewal and improvements in the national energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\nIn LA Semanal with the press, Marranzini explained that the sector’s current deficit amounts to 1.7 billion dollars, of which about 850 million correspond to subsidies, however, he assured that strong measures are being taken to reverse this situation.\n\n\n
