Julio Rodriguez approaches another year of 20 HR<\/h3>\n\n\nThe Mariners’ star outfielder, Julio Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, hit his 19th home run of the season<\/strong> in the first inning of the game against the Oakland Athletics. The solo home run helped put Seattle ahead early and left him just one hit away from securing his fourth consecutive season with 20 or more home runs<\/strong>.\n\nIn addition, Jorge Polanco<\/strong> contributed with his 17th home run<\/strong> of the year in another outstanding offensive performance for the Mariners.\n\n\n

Jesus Sanchez Leads the Marlins<\/h3>\n\n\nIn the Marlins’ 2-1 victory over the Cardinals, outfielder Jes\u00fas S\u00e1nchez<\/strong> hit his tenth home run<\/strong> of the campaign, backing a solid performance by starting pitcher Cal Quantrill<\/strong>, who allowed only three hits in five innings to earn his fifth win of the year<\/strong>.\n\nThe Marlins are still in good form, winning 10 of their last 13 games<\/strong> and 17 of the last 22 as visitors<\/strong>.\n\n\n
