As of August 1, 2025, Raleigh has hit 42 home runs, surpassing by three the number Bonds had reached on the same date of his historic 2001 campaign. In his favor, he already has more home runs at this point in the calendar than Bonds himself.\nIf Raleigh stays healthy, in the lineup and doesn’t fall into a prolonged offensive slump, he has a real opportunity to break the record. The margin is narrow, and the challenge is titanic, but his production so far allows him to dream.\n\n\n

With about 50-55 appearances left on the regular season calendar, Raleigh would need to hit an additional 31 to 32 home runs to surpass 73. It’s not impossible, but it will require an unprecedented second half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
