The Dominican government has collected, as of June 2025, more than RD$43,253 million through the selective tax on fuels (Ad-Valorem and Specific), which represents an additional RD$652 million compared to the same period of the previous year.<\/p>\n
In the first six months of this year, the General Directorate of Internal Taxes only recorded a negative variation in the months of March and May, in relation to those same months of last year, in the others it has had a surplus.<\/p>\n
March 2025 collected RD$6,895 million, which, compared to the RD$7,857 of March 2024, results in a negative of -RD4962 or -12.2%.<\/p>\n
While the RD$7,818 million of May 2025, compared to RD$8,164 million, yields a negative of -RD$345.6 or -4.2%.<\/p>\n
However, in January it has an increase of RD$1,354, when comparing the RD$7,963.8 million collected in January 2025 with the RD$6,609 million of 2024, which translates into a rise of more than 20%.<\/p>\n
Likewise, February 2025 collected RD$6,777 million, about RD$51.6 million or 0.8% more than the RD$6,726 million of February 2024.<\/p>\n
In April 2025, RD$7,047 million was collected, that is, about RD$446.5, 6.8% more than the RD$6,600 of April 2024 and June 2025 about RD$6,753, about RD$108.04 million more than the RD$6,645 million of June 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
