Starting Sunday, you will not be able to turn left at these intersections!"},"content":{"rendered":"<strong>Santo Domingo<\/strong>.\u2013 Starting Sunday, August 3rd, and as part of the third phase of implementation of the traffic management plan \u201c<strong>RD Se Mueve\u201d<\/strong>, drivers will have restrictions on left turns at strategic intersections in Greater Santo Domingo.\n\nThis initiative by the Transportation Cabinet seeks to optimize vehicle circulation, reduce travel times, and reinforce road safety in high-traffic areas.\n\nThe previous phases, applied on Lope de Vega and Tiradentes avenues, have been continuously monitored, recording a reduction of more than 30% in travel times during the current school holiday period.\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You can also read: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/conductores-reaccionan-tras-la-prohibicion-de-giros-a-la-izquierda-en-la-av-tiradentes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Drivers react to the prohibition of left turns on av. Tiradentes<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nThese results support the effectiveness of the interventions implemented and motivate the expansion of the measures towards new critical points.\n\nThe Phase III contemplates interventions in five new intersections:\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Av. Abraham Lincoln with V\u00edctor Garrido Puello street<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Av. Abraham Lincoln with Andr\u00e9s Julio Aybar street<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Av. M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez with Pedro Livio Cede\u00f1o avenue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Av. Winston Churchill with Jos\u00e9 Amado Soler street<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Av. Winston Churchill with Roberto Pastoriza avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\nTo ensure smooth traffic flow, specific alternate routes have been defined for each intersection:\n\nAt the intersection of <strong>Av. Abraham Lincoln\u2013V\u00edctor Garrido Puello<\/strong>, where turning northeast will be restricted, drivers must continue south, turn right onto Av. Roberto Pastoriza, take Federico Geraldino street, and finally access V\u00edctor Garrido Puello street.\n\nIn the case of the intersection <strong>Av. Abraham Lincoln\u2013Andr\u00e9s Julio Aybar<\/strong>, also with restriction in the northeast direction, it is recommended to continue south, make a U-turn on Rafael Augusto S\u00e1nchez street and then turn right on Andr\u00e9s Julio Aybar street.\n\nIn <strong>Av. M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez with Pedro Livio Cede\u00f1o<\/strong>, where the northeast turn will be eliminated, the suggested route is to continue south, turn right onto Alexander Fleming street, then onto Ram\u00f3n C\u00e1ceres street and finally rejoin Ave. Pedro Livio Cede\u00f1o.\n\nFor the intersection of <strong>Av. Winston Churchill with Jos\u00e9 Amado Soler street<\/strong>, with a restriction on the southwest turn, drivers must continue north, turn right onto Francisco Carias Lavander street, then onto Manuel de Jes\u00fas Troncoso street, and finally onto Jos\u00e9 Amado Soler street.\n\nFinally, at the intersection of <strong>Av. Winston Churchill\u2013Roberto Pastoriza<\/strong>, also with a restriction on the southwest turn, you must turn right onto V\u00edctor Garrido Puello street, then onto Manuel de Jes\u00fas Troncoso street, and end on Av.
