Faced with these comments, manager Aaron Boone<\/strong> acknowledged that criticism is part of the job and that the team must raise its level:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“When we lose games, especially if they are related to mistakes, those criticisms are valid\u2026 We have all the pieces to be a very good team. It depends on me and all of us to get the best out of that”.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nBoone defended that there is internal responsibility, although he admitted that it is not always perceived from the outside. However, the urgency is clear: after leading the American League East Division at the end of May, the Yankees are now third with a record of 60-51, behind the Blue Jays and Red Sox.\n\nJeter’s conclusion was blunt:\n\n\n
