The Venezuelan slugger hit his first home run since his return to the Mariners and was key in the team’s 8-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Park.\n\nYou may be interested in<\/strong>:Jes\u00fas S\u00e1nchez is already making a name for himself in the Astros, who defeat Alc\u00e1ntara and the Marlins in Miami<\/a>\n\nSu\u00e1rez, recently acquired in a trade with the D-backs, hit a home run in the fourth inning with a two-run blast that traveled 390 feet and landed in the well-known Edgar\u2019s Cantina zone. It was his 37th home run of the season and his first with Seattle since the penultimate day of the 2023 campaign.\n\n“As if he had never left!” exclaimed narrator Aaron Goldsmith, highlighting the immediate impact of Su\u00e1rez’s return to the team with which he connected 53 home runs between 2022 and 2023. The Venezuelan celebrated with his classic imaginary binoculars gesture, provoking the joy of the fans.\n\n“I felt very happy to contribute with that home run that gave us the lead,” Su\u00e1rez expressed. “Seeing the faces of the fans when I took the trident was fun. But the most important thing is to help the team win games.”\n\nSeattle’s offense showed its renewed depth, with outstanding performances by Dominican Jorge Polanco, who drove in two with a single in the sixth inning, and Josh Naylor, who added a two-run home run and a spectacular double steal.\n\nAdditionally, rookie Cole Young drove in another run, while Dominic Canzone also hit it out of the park in the second inning.\n\nFrom the mound, Bryan Woo signed another gem by pitching seven innings of just two hits, with nine strikeouts and only one run allowed. The young pitcher lowered his ERA to 3.02 and extended his franchise record by completing his 22nd start with at least six innings pitched this season.\n\nWith this triumph, the Mariners (61-53) have won four of their last five games after the Trade Deadline and are solidifying themselves as a contending team in the American League, with a powerful offensive core led by Cal Raleigh, Randy Arozarena, Julio Rodr\u00edguez and now newcomers Su\u00e1rez and Naylor.\n\nSeattle will look to get nine games above .500 for the first time this season this Wednesday.\n\n\n
