You may be interested in:<\/strong> Postpone coercion measure request to Jean Andr\u00e9s Pumarol until tomorrow<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nThe legal action stemmed from a complaint filed by D\u00e1maso Medrano Reyes,<\/strong> who reported having been a victim of the forgery of his signature on a general power of attorney, through which broad powers were granted to his then-partner Jes\u00fas Aldea Abi\u00e1n,<\/strong> to act on his behalf within the project, according to a statement from the Public Ministry<\/strong>.\n\nAccording to the complaint, the falsified documents were used to divert funds from investors to two other companies: Guztrade SRL and Condular SRL, created along with the also accused Pedro Pablo P\u00e9rez and Griselda Antonia Calder\u00f3n Taveras.\n\nDespite the payments made, the project, which should have been built in the municipality of San Felipe de Puerto Plata, was never constructed.\n\nThe power was legalized by notary Rodolfo Morales Almonte and sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) for analysis.\n\nThe expert report confirmed that the signatures do not correspond to Medrano Reyes, validating the forgery complaint, the information indicated.\n\nThe investigating prosecutor in the case, Rosal\u00eda Vargas G\u00f3mez, continues the proceedings to determine the extent of the fraud.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
