The United States stands in solidarity with his family and the Colombian people, both in their mourning and demanding justice for those responsible,” Rubio expressed through his X account.<\/a>\n\nIt is recalled that Uribe Turbay, 39 years old, was attacked with a firearm while participating in a political rally in the Modelia neighborhood, west of Bogot\u00e1.\n\n\n

Last Saturday, Santa Fe reported that the politician had suffered a hemorrhage in the nervous system that worsened his health condition.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nUribe Turbay received two shots to the head and one to the left leg while leading a political rally in a park in the Bogot\u00e1 neighborhood of Modelia as part of his political activity in the run-up to the 2026 presidential elections, in which he aspired to obtain the nomination of the Democratic Center.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
