Read more: Indomet: Tropical wave and trough will continue generating showers<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nIn the afternoon, daytime heating will intensify the rainfall, causing cloud cover increases, heavy showers, thunderstorms, and possible wind gusts over Greater Santo Domingo, Monte Plata, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Azua, San Juan, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a, Independencia, Bahoruco, Dajab\u00f3n, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, and Monte Cristi. These conditions will persist until the early hours of the night, when a gradual decrease is expected, giving way to a sky of scattered clouds.\n\nFor this Friday, a tropical wave will approach the country, causing in the afternoon and early evening new episodes of showers, thunderstorms and isolated wind gusts, mainly in the northeast, southeast, the Central Mountain Range and the border area, affecting provinces such as La Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Romana, Santo Domingo, Monte Plata, Saman\u00e1, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Santiago, La Vega and San Juan, among others.\n\nINDOMED warns that temperatures will continue to be hot, with maximum values between 33 \u00b0C and 35 \u00b0C and minimums between 22 \u00b0C and 24 \u00b0C, due to the summer season. It is recommended to avoid unprotected sun exposure between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., stay constantly hydrated, wear light-colored clothing, and seek cool and ventilated spaces, remembering that children and the elderly are more vulnerable to the heat.\n\nForecast for Greater Santo Domingo\n\n\n
