You may be interested in:<\/strong>Jassel P\u00e9rez: \u201cI know the value I have for children, young athletes and my country\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nThe meeting will serve as preparation for the Quisqueyan squad that will compete in the AmeriCup 2025 Championship, which will be held in Managua, Nicaragua, from August 22 to 31.\n\nThe so-called “Caribbean Classic” between the eternal regional basketball rivals, Dominicans and Puerto Ricans, in another friendly match, will be this coming Sunday, the 17th.\n\nThe game is scheduled for 8:00 PM, at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum, in the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, the same venue as in the 2023 match.\n\nThis activity is coordinated by the respective presidents of both National Basketball Federations, Rafael Uribe, for Quisqueya, and Yum Ramos, for Borinquen.\n\nCh\u00e9 Garc\u00eda’s coaching staff includes a trilogy of first-rate figures with Dominicans David D\u00edaz and Abraham Disla, and Argentine Mart\u00edn Luis, his assistants.\n\nHe informed that the players (14) who will make the trip to Puerto Rico for the friendly match are Andr\u00e9s Feliz, Gelvis Solano, Richard Bautista -who joined the practices on Wednesday, Jassel P\u00e9rez, Juan Miguel Suero, Anyeuri Castillo, \u00c1ngel N\u00fa\u00f1ez and \u00c1ngel Luis Delgado.\n\nAs well as, Juan Guerrero, who joined the training sessions this Thursday, Anderson Garc\u00eda, Eloy Vargas, Joel Soriano, V\u00edctor Liz and Jean Montero.\n\nDominican Republic is in Group C with Nicaragua, Argentina, and Colombia; in Group B, Panama, Venezuela, Canada, and Puerto Rico, and in Group A, the United States, Brazil, Uruguay, and the Bahamas.\n\nThe Dominican team is preparing to compete in the 2025 AmeriCup Championship, which will be played at the Alexis Arg\u00fcello sports complex in Managua, Nicaragua.\n\nThis Thursday was the last day of preparation for the Criollos at the Training Court of the National Minibasket House in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, as on Friday at 2:00 in the afternoon they will travel to Puerto Rican soil.\n\nThe staff is led by General Manager Junior P\u00e1ez (Jipy), who is also vice president of Fedombal; Carlos De Le\u00f3n; in Operations; and trainer Adenauer D\u00edaz (Rilling).\n\nThe Santiago journalist Rolando Ferm\u00edn Jr. will be in the press and Dr. Gewill Acosta, a doctor.\n\n\n
