The death certificate, issued by the medical examiner, certifies that the cause of death was child abuse<\/strong>, as bruises, burns, and lacerations were found on different parts of the body.\n\nIn his initial statement, Montero Medina revealed that his wife initiated the progressive mistreatment of the girl about two and a half months ago, intensifying with the passing of the days.\n\nThe authorities collected various pieces of evidence, including evidence obtained from cell phones, while neighbors in the area claimed to have noticed suspicious behavior, pointing out that the woman did not allow anyone to see the minor.\n\nThe body was transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF)<\/strong> for the corresponding analyses.
