Juan de los Santos and Rey Abad were the top scorers for the home team with six points each. Earlier, the team had suffered a close 18-16 defeat against Chile in the semifinals.\n\nIn table tennis, Ram\u00f3n Vila<\/strong> advanced to the quarterfinals of the individual modality after defeating Enrique R\u00edos (Puerto Rico) 4-2.
