A survey of the foreign exchange market conducted by the Central Bank has set the average buying and selling prices of the Euro in the exchange and remittance agents of the Dominican Republic for this Monday, August 18, 2025, as follows:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Purchase Rate: RD$70.30<\/p>\n
\u2022 Sale Rate: RD$74.83<\/p>\n
For their part, the Financial Entities presented the following rates for this Monday, August 18th.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Purchase Rate: RD$71.23<\/p>\n
\u2022 Sale Rate: RD$73.19<\/p>\n
Regarding its recent performance, the euro has shown a constant depreciation in the segment of currency exchange agents and remittances.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Compared to August 14, 2025: A depreciation of 0.36% in purchase and 0.37% in sale.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Compared to 1 month ago: A more pronounced depreciation of 2.58% in buying and 2.66% in selling.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Since the end of 2024: Depreciation is accentuated to 11.76% on purchase and 12.07% on sale.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Compared to 1 year ago: A depreciation of 9.37% in purchase and 9.84% in sale is observed.<\/p>\n
The depreciation trend is also evident in Financial Entities:<\/p>\n
\u2022 As of August 14, 2025: Depreciation of 0.15% on purchase and 0.20% on sale.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Compared to 1 month ago: A depreciation of 2.63% in buying and 2.55% in selling.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Since the end of 2024: Depreciation reaches 11.62% on purchase and 11.68% on sale.<\/p>\n
