U.S. President Donald Trump asserted this Monday that in a few weeks it will be known if the situation in Ukraine will be resolved.<\/p>\n

“In a certain period of time, not too far off, a week or two, we will know if we are going to resolve this or if it is a horrible struggle,” Trump affirmed.<\/p>\n

The US president also stated that the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict depends<\/a> now on the leader of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, and that he believes it is possible to reach an agreement with President Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n

“Ultimately, this is a decision that only President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine can make […]. I have the feeling that you [Zelensky] and President Putin are going to reach an agreement,” he stated.<\/p>\n

Zelensky arrived<\/a> in the U.S. to address the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict after the historic summit<\/a> held by the Russian and American leaders last Friday in the state of Alaska. Both Putin and Trump highlighted<\/a> that the talks took place in a “constructive and mutually respectful” environment.<\/p>\n

In the meeting with President Trump, several European leaders also participated<\/a>: the President of France, Emmanuel Macron; the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz; the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer; the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni; the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb; the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte; and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
