You may be interested in: <\/strong>Blessed Miguel Cruz will be inducted into the Dominican Sports Hall of Fame<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nAmong the “verified facts” by the CNE, it is highlighted, according to the information, that the entry of Guzm\u00e1n Beato to the CDP, under the code G800327, was carried out with “evident irregularities”.\n\nThe Commission detailed that its application for admission, dated May 7, 2019, was signed by only four of the seven members of the CDP National Executive Committee, despite the fact that the requirements for membership demand that the file be complete and without irregularities.\n\nA point cited by the commission is the alleged violation of the transitional article 5 of Law 10-91, which creates the CDP.\n\nThis article allowed the incorporation of people who did not have a university degree in communication at the time of the enactment of the law, but the deadline for this incorporation expired 90 days after its enactment, on May 7, 1991.\n\nThe CNE stated that the entry of Guzm\u00e1n Beato to the CDP took place 19 years after the established deadline, which invalidates his full membership.\n\nIn that order, the CNE requested the CDP executive committee to disqualify the membership of Guzm\u00e1n Beato and to exclude his name from the electoral roll.\n\nThe elections of the Dominican College of Journalists are scheduled for August 29.
