Read more: DNCD prevents shipment of eight cocaine packages to Spain<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nThe foreigner, who was among one of the most wanted fugitives in his country, was part of a criminal structure called Operation Jericho; and had a Red diffusion alert against him by the International Police (Interpol), for the charges of crimes against collective security, conspiracy to commit drug-related crimes and money laundering.\n\n“The 43-year-old Panamanian also has an international arrest warrant from the Superior Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office of Panama for homicide and femicide.”\n\nThe dangerous fugitive was transferred under strict security measures to Las Am\u00e9ricas International Airport, JFPG, by tactical units of the DNCD, where he was handed over to Panamanian officials who transferred him on a commercial flight to his country, to answer the accusations against him.\n\nMartinez Collins was deported to Panama, in compliance with the provisions of Law No. 285-04 on Migration, in its Article No. 15, which establishes that foreigners with criminal records or fugitives from justice in their country will not be admitted into the national territory.\n\nThe capture and subsequent deportation of the foreigner is part of the firm commitment of the Dominican Republic to continue improving operational capabilities, with allied countries, in the fight against drug trafficking and transnational organized crime.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
