We want to invite Japan to look towards our country as a safe platform to expand its investments in the region, with clear rules, political stability, and a working people who are committed to development,&#8221; the minister expressed.\n\nThe Executive Director of ProDominicana, Biviana Riveiro, was in charge of the main presentation where she presented the country&#8217;s advantages and outlined the areas with the greatest potential for Japanese investment, including tourism, renewable energies, mining, transportation, infrastructure, free zones, and advanced manufacturing.\n\n&#8220;We are showing the Japanese business community that the Dominican Republic offers an attractive and competitive ecosystem for investment. Our opportunities are not only in manufacturing and tourism, but also in emerging sectors such as technological innovation and renewable energy, where Japan is a world leader,&#8221; highlighted Riveiro.\n\nFor his part, Japan&#8217;s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Takuma Miyaji, congratulated the Dominican authorities for the initiative of this event, assuring that it contributes to exploring new business opportunities and to continue consolidating relations between both countries.\n\nThe event also featured the participation of the Minister of Culture, Roberto \u00c1ngel Salcedo; the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Affairs and International Cooperation, Hugo Rivera; the Dominican ambassador to Japan, Edward P\u00e9rez Reyes, as well as the new business investment manager of ProDominicana, Zanony Severino; and the counselor of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Japan, Emmanuel Guzm\u00e1n; among other members of the delegation from the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Presidency, Culture and Tourism.\n\nTourism Promotion Event\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the agenda, the Dominican delegation also held an official reception at the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel Otemachi, with the aim of promoting the Caribbean country as a tourist destination and strengthening relations with Japanese authorities and strategic partners. The event brought together more than a hundred guests, including government authorities, leaders of the business and tourism sectors, Japanese associations, the press, and other key players in the bilateral relationship.<\/p>\n\n\nDuring the evening, brief interventions were offered with simultaneous translation in Spanish and Japanese.
