The team defeated <strong>Manhattan 2-0<\/strong> in the intermediate women&#8217;s division; <strong>El Bronx 2-1<\/strong> in the 17-18 year old women&#8217;s category, and defeated <strong>Brooklyn 2-0<\/strong> in the men&#8217;s division. An impeccable day that ratified the quality of Dominican athletes residing in the &#8220;Garden State.&#8221;\n\nThe only gold medal that escaped the New Jersey teams was in the girls&#8217; youth category, where they succumbed <strong>2-0 to The Bronx<\/strong>.\n\nThe triumph was highlighted as part of the <strong>support of President Luis Abinader<\/strong> and the Ministry of Sports to recognize and strengthen the identity of the Dominican community in the United States.\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other disciplines shine at the Games<\/h3>\n\n\nIn <strong>table tennis<\/strong>, the champion was <strong>Wilson Reynoso<\/strong>, who defeated <strong>3-0 Mar\u00eda Borja<\/strong> in the final. The bronze was shared between <strong>Luis Burgos<\/strong> and <strong>Luis Taveras<\/strong>.\n\nIn the discipline of <strong>billiards<\/strong>, <strong>Ariel L\u00f3pez<\/strong> won the gold medal after defeating <strong>Deury Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> in the final.
