Kennedy and 27 de Febrero avenues.\n\nThe new stage begins with the optimization of the M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez \u2013 John F. Kennedy traffic light intersection, which goes from four to three operating phases, which entails the prohibition of the following turns:\n\u2022 From Kennedy towards the south on M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez (East\u2013South).\n\u2022 From Kennedy towards the north on M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez (West\u2013North).\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/ciudadanos-rechazan-medidas-intrant\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"497254\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Citizens reject new Intrant measures that prohibit left turns<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nFor drivers needing to head south, the following alternatives were established:\n\u2022 Take San Mart\u00edn Avenue and turn left onto M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez.\n\u2022 Use Paseo de los Aviadores street, connect with San Mart\u00edn and then join M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez towards the south.\n\nRegarding the restriction to the north, the alternative route will be to continue east, turn onto Paseo de los Ferreteros street, then onto Mayor Valverde street, and finally access M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez street heading north.\n\nThe Transportation Cabinet did not provide information on the specific intersections of 27th of February Avenue that will be intervened, nor on the alternative routes corresponding to that road in this phase.\n\nWith the three previous phases, traffic has already been reorganized at 13 strategic intersections in the capital, including Lope de Vega, Tiradentes, Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, and M\u00e1ximo G\u00f3mez avenues, which has generated significant changes in circulation.\n\nThe institution recalled that, after a two-week orientation period, the measure is already being monitored in several corridors, with the application of fines to drivers who fail to comply.
