Those selected from this stage will advance to the second round, thus participating in the Grand Final. There they will present their repertoire in a concert open to the public where the selection and awarding of the winners will then take place.\n\nThis was reported by Nicole Toribio, Executive Vice President of BritchamDR, who explained that, once the call for entries closes on October 15th, the jury, after a rigorous evaluation process, will select three finalists for each of the three established categories, which will be announced on November 30, 2025, through the official communication platforms of the contest.\n\n\n

In her welcoming remarks, she emphasized the preponderant role of YMoCA as a space that reminds us of the transformative power of music: its ability to unite us, to inspire us and to open doors to new opportunities for those who dream of sharing their art with the world.\n\n\n

The three editions held so far have seen the participation of more than 170 musicians from 11 Caribbean islands.\n\n\n

The winners will receive a trophy and a scholarship to participate in a summer music program, virtual or in-person, depending on age, at prestigious musical institutions and academies in the United Kingdom. While the finalists receive medals, certificates and personalized masterclasses in the country, from the hand of internationally recognized musicians.\n\nBritchamDR YMoCA is supported by the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the country, Ministry of Culture, Eduardo Brito National Theater, General Directorate of Fine Arts and National Conservatory of Music.
