Both tournaments are part of the circuit endorsed by the Badminton World Federation (BWF).\n\nAccording to Javier Ozuna, this international tour represents a strategic step within the national team’s preparation program for the Santo Domingo 2026 Games, the top regional sporting event in which Dominican badminton aspires to a prominent performance as the host country.\n\n\n

Both tournaments are a fundamental part of the BWF international calendar and constitute an excellent opportunity to raise the competitive performance of Dominican athletes.\n\n\n

Nos enfrentaremos a rivales de primer nivel y eso permitir\u00e1 a nuestros atletas medir su evoluci\u00f3n, afinar estrategias y fortalecer su experiencia, ya que estamos comprometidos con una preparaci\u00f3n integral y de calidad\u201d, <\/p>sostuvo.<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\nHe highlighted that the national team is made up of a delegation of elite athletes who will represent the country in the singles and doubles modalities, under the technical direction of national coaches Wilton Tav\u00e1rez and Maykel Moreno.\n\n“These events will serve as a high-level training ground against athletes from America and other regions, allowing us to evaluate the team’s competitive progress and accumulate valuable points in the world ranking.”\n\n\n
